1Introduction and Purpose

This Cookie Policy Notice has been prepared, in the capacity of data controller and within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the "Law" or the "KVK Law") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation, by Aksu Piliç Tarım Sanayi İç ve Dış Tic. A.Ş. (the "Company").

In relation to the processing of personal data obtained automatically through the use of cookies on our website, the purpose of this notice is to explain which types of cookies we use and for what purposes, and how you can manage them.

As a Company, we make use of cookies in order to improve your experience during your use of or visit to our website (the "Site"). Explicit consent is obtained from users for cookies other than strictly necessary cookies, and users are able to change their consent at any time. Through the cookie management panel, users can see the types of cookies used on our Site and set their preferences using "on" or "off" options for cookies other than Strictly Necessary Cookies.

2The Purposes for Which Personal Data Will Be Processed and the Legal Grounds

The cookies used on the Site are processed on the basis of one or more of the personal data processing conditions set out in Article 5 of the KVK Law and in accordance with the principles set out in Article 4 of the Law. The purposes of the personal data processing activities carried out by means of cookies are as follows:

2.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

First-party cookies that are strictly necessary for our website to function technically, for the requested information society services to be provided and for your cookie preference to be remembered are used. The data processing activities carried out through these cookies are based on the legal grounds of being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract pursuant to Article 5/2-c of the Law, and of processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller pursuant to Article 5/2-f of the Law.

2.2. Analytical and Performance Cookies

Google Analytics 4 cookies are used in order to improve the performance of the site and, by analysing visitor traffic, to make it easier for users to find the information they are looking for. The data processing activities carried out in this context are performed, pursuant to Article 5/1 of the Law, on the sole condition of the user's explicit consent . Unless explicit consent is given, the Google Analytics code is not loaded onto our Site and no request is sent to Google.

2.3. Cookies Used on the Site

All cookies used on our site are listed in the table below. No cookie other than those listed in this table is used on our Site.

3Data Transfer and Third-Party Services

As a Company, we may transfer the personal data we process in accordance with national legislation, in particular Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. Your personal data may be transferred to our suppliers and to legally authorised public institutions, limited to the fulfilment of the purposes stated above and in accordance with legislation.

Analytical cookies are provided by Google LLC, which is located abroad. If you give your explicit consent to analytical cookies, the data processed through these cookies may be transferred to Google LLC's servers abroad for the purpose of improving the presentation and use of the Site. If you do not give explicit consent, this transfer does not take place.

Apart from this, no personal data is transferred abroad through our Site.

4Cookie Management and Your Right to Choose

Under Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the right to learn whether their personal data is being processed, to request information, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, and to request the erasure or correction of their data.

You may submit applications regarding these rights by completing the Data Controller Application Formor by other methods provided for in legislation. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; however, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff to be set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
